Suppose I use esnipe to bid on something on eBay & I really want this item. Esnipe doesn't always work so, if in the last minutes of the auction I have second thoughts & decide to bid myself & the esnipe bid is still in effect will my esnipe bid over bid my bid & cause me to pay more for the item? I don't know if I can bid against myself or even if esnipe would be able to over bid me.
Anyone have any information on this?

if you are using the same user id, it will just increase your proxy bid. You will not outbid yourself.
