Hi,
I am trying to list my auctions. I use the same template all the time and now they don't work. I get the error message "Auction Data Failure: Disallowed Javascript/HTML Syntax" I emailed customer service and they told me to edit my auctions because eBay changed their rules to not allow this html. I don't know what it is. I have edited my auctions and they still don't work. What do i need to change? I use front page 2000 to create my ads.
Thanks,
Chris

look in your html, and see if you have any tag lines that look like this:
<javascript>
</javascript>
If you have those, you are using Javascript, which is now against eBay's rules. You have to remove that section before you can post it.

Good. Suits me just fine, no need for anything but basic HTML in an auction listing. You can make very nice auction pages without being intrusive and loading java scripts. There are reasons for java scripts, but I don't like them running when I have a bunch of browsers opened up.

I hate the javascript that makes words follow my mouse cursor around the page. Not only does it cover up what I am reading, but it follows the cursor right up to the "Back" button when I see it.
