If you cancel the auction with this person as the high bidder, it will end just like it normally would have, only sooner. Everything else stays the same.

I just got word from the buyer that he had used the BIN button. He say's it told him that the price was $5.00 + $28.95 shiping and handling!
Anyway, he says he wants the widget for the BIN price and has already sent the money by Billpoint. I cancelled the auction.........

Maybe I'm missing something, but if the bidder used BIN, wouldn't the auction end and there'd be no need to cancel?

Join the crowd, I'm confused too.....
The buyer did use BIN...... but the auction didn't end! It showed an opening bid of $5.00
He said when he did it, that it told him the widget was $5.00 + $28.95 s/h...
The actual total cost of BIN + s/h = $28.95
In any matter, I cancelled the auction myself as "cancel - sell to high bidder". He already sent the money by Billpoint, so his widget will go out tomorrow.
