How did I get into this??

I listed some items today, first one's in months.

I check my bids a few minutes ago, and one of my widgets had one bid for the opening, $5.00 ...... ok, cool

Then I check my e-mail, and I get a message from Billpoint that the same guy has also used the BIN price and sent me $25 + s/h...

Same guy both bid and used BIN.......

He's kinda new, only four FB. How do I handle this???

If I cancel the auction before any other bids, will we still be able to leave feedback?

Wadda??????

If you cancel the auction with this person as the high bidder, it will end just like it normally would have, only sooner. Everything else stays the same.

revvassago Thanks. Another question, will that affect the payment he sent by BillPoint?

I don't have a whole lot of experience with BP. This will be only the third or fourth time I've used it.

I just got word from the buyer that he had used the BIN button. He say's it told him that the price was $5.00 + $28.95 shiping and handling!

Anyway, he says he wants the widget for the BIN price and has already sent the money by Billpoint. I cancelled the auction.........

(crossing his fingers, saying his prayers...)

Maybe I'm missing something, but if the bidder used BIN, wouldn't the auction end and there'd be no need to cancel?

KarenMX Hi.....

Join the crowd, I'm confused too.....

The buyer did use BIN...... but the auction didn't end! It showed an opening bid of $5.00

He said when he did it, that it told him the widget was $5.00 + $28.95 s/h...

The actual total cost of BIN + s/h = $28.95

In any matter, I cancelled the auction myself as "cancel - sell to high bidder". He already sent the money by Billpoint, so his widget will go out tomorrow.

Free listing day = new headache day...

Tim
