Launched 3 auctions--2 were a success & the last one is "stuck in processing" for 1/2 hr. now--all 3 were to be launched at the same time--is it because of the free listing day on Ebay ( the last 1 is quite expensive)?? Makes me think that is the case!! Anyone have any ideas for me?

I had those problems using AOL from time to time but we are now DSL and I had NO problems loading up auctions today/tonight.

I can type up an auction from scratch now in the same (or less) time than it used to take to just relist using AOL!

Life is much better in the fast lane.

rcaval2233,

It's probably because of heavy volume, but to be sure, why not check with a Customer Care Rep here http://www.auctionwatch.com/mesg/list.html?num=36

Good luck with your auctions!

Stuck in "processing" here, too!

Launched (or tried to launch) 5 auctions, and only 1 of the 5 ever made it to eBay.

It was the middle of the pack (third auction I launched) that made it to the finish line.

Go figure!

Now am living in fear that the rest of them will finally be launched in the middle of the night. Nothing like having auctions end at 3 or 4 AM to slash those meager profits even more!

Gave up trying to launch anymore and am going to do something productive, like zone out in front of the tube for awhile.

I have 17 stuck in processing for three hours now. I'm sure that as soon as Free Posting Day is over something will free them up and I'll get slammed with fees on stuff I wouldn't have posted if it weren't for free listing day. Great, just great.

eBay is bogged down!
I just came from the www.****.com boards -- they use the API & even they have been notified by eBay that the volumn is too large tonite!

I never list on FREE days! Call me but never call me late for dinner!

I was flying along until about 1/2 hour ago-now 6 are "in limbo". I will prep my last few, and call it a night. Even if I get hit with the fees, it would only be on 8 items instead of 70.

I'm not even stuck in processing-I'm just plain lost! The last 8 or 9 of my auctions are no where to be found! They aren't listed anywhere-not pending or processing. So I just quit. Thanks a bunch AW.

Hi everyone,

eBay is running slow and is impacting our system performance, my apologies. Please retry your timed out auctions if you can.

susan1232, all of your auctions are there, you just need to click on "pending" in the left hand column under "display options" to see them.

AuctionWatch is working on a new launching process for our systems that will greatly increase our ability to launch and process eBay auctions. We'll have more details on it next week.

Cheers,

Mark

Hmmm...I've launched a number of auctions throughout the evening and every single one launched immediately. Of course, I'm not using AW. eBay seems to be moving smoothly as silk........

I, too, am STUCK! I have 10 auctions processing, but nothing has appeared on Ebay. I relisted 1 item direct from Ebay and I guess this is the only free one I'll get!!! I think AW should give us a refund for our listing fees if they don't make it before midnight since we now have to pay for their service too!!

The problem is with AW. I say that if they don't get our auctions listed, they should pay the listing fees. That's only fair. I know I probably dispute any charge on my credit card from AW for these listings. You all should do the same.

Gibba,

Good idea but unfortunately some of lucky loosers paid AW $200 months ago and only pay 5 cents for each listing so I can't dispute it. I will be stuck paying for 150 auctions that are in 2 categories (becuz I thought what the heck ebay is eating the bill on that one...) but thanks to AW ... looks like I will be eating it.
Thanks for your wonderful service AW.... I will be looking into another service tomorrow when I get up if my auctions aren't posted in the next 2 hours.

Good luck everyone. If they aren't listed we all need to raise some cain!!!

You have 180 days to dispute a charge on your credit card. I too paid the $200 and will dispute that charge if I get stuck with the fees for the 54 auctions I have pending. In fact I will dispute all charges from AW. They promised me a service they are not providing.

FYI, I too will be taking my business elsewhere if these auctions do not go through. What kind of business are they running here anyway?

Everyone,

Please read Mark's post above.

As I understand it, auctions are going through, but are taking a bit longer than usual due to the free listing day.

Marks post does not give us an answer. He's talking the future, we are talking tonight.

The problem is not ebay, ebay works fine. It's AW.

I use software (not AW)installed on my computer...listed 40 at different times, no problems at all, in fact they listed Immediately! Ebay didn't have any problems that I know of....and I am only on a 56k modem.

Yeah, that's bunk! eBay was having no problem handling the influx of listings. I spoke to quite a few other sellers who were, like me, listing from either directly on ebay or using services OTHER THAN AW and not one person had a single problem. Everything was launching within seconds of entering them through....
