I currently use my AOL FTP for uploading photos to ebay but I am in the process of cancelling my AOL account (switched to using my cable). I tried using yahoo/geocities but would like alternatives. I know I can use Ebay's picture hosting but not thrilled about using it.

Any other suggestions for free image hosting would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

Read the terms of use very carefully at any "free site". Most of them prohibit "remote loading", which is what you are doing when you post pictures on eBay. Also if the terms say anything about "not blocking banners" ebay also does this. Many people have had their "free sites" taken down in the middle of their auctions. Most free sites make their money with banners, and they can't be displayed on ebay. There are some good pay sites that are inexpensive, but since AW is in the picture hosting business, we can't name names.

don't most isps give a certain amount of space for free? As long as you don't use it all up for pics of the family or whatever they usually would be giving more than enough space to host most people's auction pictures.

I wouldn't be able to fill up the 6 megs Earth**** gives me with my private account.

Maybe I'm wrong though, I thought it was pretty standard.

Worldnet gives you 5 mgs of space per name ($4.95/month for 150 hrs.) I am thrilled with it.

We use Photopoint.....we pay only $9.95 a year for up to 1,000 photos at a time!
It's rarely ever down...Good Site!
I think it's $19.95/year now,but still well worth it.

Not allowed to say on AW's chatboard, I'll get suspended.

E-mail me at [email protected] for who I use.
