I am a frequent visiter of the Wanted Board, and eBay is now planning on doing away with it. Most of the links on eBay have been removed, the only way I can get to it is through my bookmark. Apparently it is not making them enough money. One of their reasons more or less is that with so many new search features the entire board is no longer needed. I personally enjoy trying to help people ID certain things and hauling out stuff I never imagined someone would want from the back of my closet.

What are everyone elses thoughts?

I have used it once or twice before. Then, I needed it the other day, and it wasn't there. I think it is very useful.

Come on, I can't believe this wasn't a topic already. No one here visits the Wanted Board?

Hello JettBoy,

I have deleted your last post as it contained information that could identify other eBay users.

It also contained content which could be offensive to some of the Members here at Auctionwatch.

I have emailed you a copy of your post for ease of editing.

Thank you,

My belief is the Wanted Board is being scrapped because of the constant attempts of users to sell items on the board and avoid fees.

Visited the eBay "Wanted" Board once a few years back, saw little use in it and never went back. Other auction sites have similar boards and I see little to no activity from them, so the loss of the eBay "Wanted" board is no loss at all, but that is my person opinion.

I am sure others may have found it very useful.

I think the board is abused.
I also used it trying to find an obscure item and was not very lucky. I tried over many days. Thought I might see an auction spring up! But didn't.
Am sorry to see it go, because it's kind of cool.
