Lately I have noticed a large number of my auction winners
are from NEW YORK.....last month it was TEXAS...
And always the fewest number of my bidders from ALASKA...
Now I know what you are going to say NEW YORK has more people
so there for more bidders.....True but NEW YORK has tons of more
shops and place to go buy things than ALASKA...
Has anyone seen their demographic selling circle change..?
Happy FREEDOM DAY...
My wife is form England ..
So I think today I’ll make her watch “THE PATRIOT” again

What do you sell Jumpin' Jack?
NYC has a lot of stores but there
are a lot of stores we don't have.
There is no Wal Mart in Manhattan, no
Taget, a teeny Kmart. We have lots of
fashion but practical stuff is hard to
find here at great prices.

quality goods are expensive in nyc, just look at the rent they have to pay.
you can buy discount cloths, handbags etc in lower manhatten though.
alaskans tend to go crazy in the winter when they cant go out.

First off, I want to say that I think Jumpinjacko is a hoot. You always make me smile with your quick wit. I also checked out your auctions and am very impressed with the section that people can go to and see who they are dealing with...very personable.
I too have noticed a lot of NY customers lately. I have to agree with the post above that it is hard to find discount store items for a decent price in NY. I lived in Manhattan for a while (MISS IT TERRIBLY) and hated having to go buy silly things like wrapping paper, kitchen items, etc and pay much higher prices than I knew Walmart would charge.
Maybe ebay is just advertising there more right now. Anyone clued in on that?
Happy 4th... as the beautiful fireworks are booming off already here I am working on ebay. What a life...but I choose it anytime!

I hope you all realize that NOO YAWK is more than the city! It is a big state, and as a Texan who pumped gas in my car once asked: "Issat near Canada?" And I replied: "Yup".
