I just received an email from a bidder dated May 14th. I had problems with this guy's email back then and the auction has long been settled up, but I just thought this was quite possibly a new world's record. If not, it's just another reminder that email is not a quite perfect technology.

nah, I just got one discussing how the upcoming winter was going to be cold...I think it was from november.

But you're right..its far from perfect. There are services that offer secure email, finally. You have to pay of course, but if you are a business, from all the "but I didn't get your email" complaints on ebay, it might be worth looking into for serious sellers here.

I received one a few months back from France that was over a year old. Go figure?
