Starting to have functionality issues at the old homestead (eBay).

Can't leave feedback, and now can't view my seller's page.

Anyone else?

My auctions ended about an hour ago... I've been lucky that way lately Auctions can be accessed, but search is down here in florida. Yup... Ebay is showing all green lights LOL.

I have one ending in 15 minutes; was up to $147 & I was expecting quite a few snipers on this one!

it had to be! Down in WI too. Of course their numbers are taking a big hit today so they may as well get it all over with in one fell swoop--why worry about us little guys?

Some of mine too Antique Parrot. I listed all throughout the day. And some were doing pretty fine also. Maybe we get an extension? Free listing, extension. Hmm. This could go on awhile.

Well, it's back up now...my auction closed during the 'down time' and no snipers could get in to bid.....such is life at ebay.

Got my seller's page back, and it only took about a minute and a half (gak!) to process leaving feedback.

But all in all some of my dogs sold and I've gotten a bunch of BIN's out of FLD.

Maybe if we all hold candles in the air and chant, "Don't go down, don't go down...."

Now this is incredible! My high bidder who won my auction while ebay was down has already emailed me with her address info....she KNOWS she's a lucky lady that the snipers couldn't get in....good for her!

Somehow I knew it would happen... I have 305 items closing in two blocks of time starting in just 1 hour! (3:30-5:30 and 9:30 - 11:59 central time).

MyEbay is sporrattic, and Honesty hasn't loaded in the last 45 minutes to check counts.

ARRRRGGGHHHHHH!

I'm only at 30% with bids (but up from 12% yesterday at this time---shows you the power of the "last day bids"

I knew I should have gone with 5 days and then used the 4th to send invoices/pack. When will I learn???

What's it going to be like on Sunday....what was I thinking......arghhhhh.

Can we hold a prayer vigil on Sunday??

I doubt it will be as bad on Sunday... A lot of people won't have paid extra 10 cents for 10 days.. I only listed 1 of 307 items for 10 days.

But then you combine with typical "sunday crash day", it could be bad

LOL ... better start praying now; I know I am. All my auctions end Sunday and I'll need all those last minute bidders and some snipers too!

Good luck all.

I wonder if the ebay/honesty combo is a good idea any more, it seems that the site is becomming more unstable as the auction counts rise, and it seem s that auctions without the free Honesty counter seem to load faster. Is it me, or have other folks noticed the same. Ed

Ed,

I quit using the honesty counters some time ago just for the reason you mentioned. They seem to be down more than up & hang up the auction.

While I don't use any counters, I've heard RubyLane is better. Might want to look into it.

I have always wondered why anyone used Honesty couters or image hosting. They are very slow. Most of the time I move on to the next auction when I see ther logo because the image does not come up at all or loads so slow that I get bored waiting.

on bargainandhaggle the number of views is noted on the sellers list (like my ebay)

no outside links - plus getting offers regularly

Couldn't list much, only 15 items, but out of the 15, 11 sold with more than one bid each. One item had 14 bids from different bidders. The average selling price was $25.00. Everyone paid through PayPal and items are packed and ready to go tomorrow. I'd say this was a good week.
