My mind has turned to mush! eBud messed up my EOAs last night, and I will have to manually send notices to several winners of dutch auctions. I confess I've never been too clear on who wins and who doesn't (I always let the auction software figure that out for me).

I have two items and two bidders: one wants two items, one wants one item. Bidder A bid 12.50 for one item, and Bidder B bid 10.51 each for two items. Who wins what?

Thanks in advance for help with this!

As the high bidder, bidder A gets one item for $10.51, no matter what bidder B does.

Bidder B gets the remaining item at $10.51 but according to ebaY rules he has the option of not completing the deal since he didn't win the entire quantity that he bid on.

Edited to remove a reference to bidder C (who apparently doesn't exist)...
