Not the fees, etc. and I like the convenience to the customer. But they are SOOOOO slow in getting you your money. And you cannot hold it in account like Paypal. Plus with PP, I can request one big deposit rather than several little ones here and there.

Sorry, just venting.

Yeah...it's got problems too I hear. I've not had any yet and I prefer to pay for things that way -- so I offer it.

all the payments I receive from my buyer thru billpoint are deposoted in to my checking acount in 2 days there fee is already deducted from what they transfer.

2 day is pretty fast paypal takes from three to five days to tranfer and 7 to 12 days to send a check.

and billpoint does hold your money in your account they transfer each payment to your checking account after it been there 2 days so if you have bill point payments sent to you daily your account always has a balance you can use to send refunds and discounts to buyer from.

bill point is far quicker.....

Dman,

I supposed it depends on the bank you use! I find that the opposite is true for me: PayPal takes about 2 days, Billpoint anywhere from 4-5 days!

Correct. Paypal, in my case, is faster.

I have transferred $$ twice from PP on a Sunday and was available in our account by 5PM Monday! (that's the next day)

Pretty happy with that service!

Now I just use the debit card instead.

I have never had any expirience with Billpoint.........PayPal has not broken for me yet so I'm not about to fix it.

I always liked Billpoint but they seem to have some glitches lately. We haven't been receiving all of our payment confirmation notices so we have to go in to check.

I just went in to send an invoice to a customer and in the message box there was already a message written. It was to another customer from a website order we had back in February. That's kind of weird.

Otherwise they have always transferred the money into our account quickly and they have been a good service.

If you can get the Billpoint Merchant Account they transfer funds the next business day. You also get $2000/transaction limits, and a lower rate ($0.35+2.25%), and higher monthly limits. They just upgraded me out of the blue and I think it probably had to do with the length of time I've been signed up and that I've had no chargebacks and good feedback. I doubt It's because of the volume of business I give them since I'm certainly no powerseller.

I used to hate that loooonngg wait too, but now the money is in my checking account in 2 business days. I'm pretty bullish on Billpoint now especially on the heels of the PayPal rate hikes.
