Hi, I have been trying to reword one of my auction titles, and I keep getting a script error window asking if I want to continue, if I press yes, I get the following message:
Disallowed Javascript Syntax
Sorry, our JavaScript-checking program has determined that your Description may contain the JavaScript syntax ".cookie", "cookie(", "replace(", or include, which are not allowed in your Description per eBay Policy.
Please click the back button to remove the JavaScript syntax in your Description. If you don't have JavaScript in your Description, you may want to add a space between the punctuation and the word.
Sorry for the inconvenience, but we strive to ensure a pleasant experience for all of those in the eBay community, and in some cases, we may be overly protective just to be safe.
This has never happened to me before and no matter what I change in the title the same message appears.
Is it me? or just a glitch, any help or suggestion would really be appreciated.
a good weekend to all!

If you're using Internet Explorer, try using Netscape. For some reason it's easier to revise auctions using Netscape browser. If you're already using Netscape then I don't have a clue what to tell you.

Hi, thanks for your reply, I am using internet explorer. For me to switch to Netscape it looks like I have to download it from its site. Do you suggest I try downloading netscape? My Isp is compuserve, which uses an AOL browser I do not know if that makes a difference.
Thanks,
Reenie

Have you checked to see if it went ahead and changed it anyway. I was relisting some things at ebay and got that message. I tried again and it still happened. I then went and checked my auctions and both times had worked anyway and I had to cancel one of them.
