Ok, I got the notice from c2it.com that they're going to start charging at the end of July. I'm not sure if they're just charging the buyer or the seller, but anyway, what are my options?
I have an ebay store so I HAVE to take credit cards. Can I only accept credit card payments on store items? I don't want to do the paypal business account thing or billpoint. What else is out there? Thanks in advance for any help.
Not kidsrus anywhere, it's just my auctionwatch name.

I believe that PayDirect is the only major service that's still free. Probably not for long though. PayDirect is run by Yahoo, you can find it from their site. Eventually, every has to bite the bullet and pay for the services they're using.

how about asking your buyer to pay with electronic check (billpoint) or fund they deposited with paypal??
electronic check fee is born by buyer and it takes forever to clear, buying them some time/
there will soon be no freebie,so may as well find a credit card service you are comfortable with,

Thanks, Peter, I'll check into that one right away...might as well, before they start charging! I really don't even want to accept credit cards, but that's the only way ebay will let you have a store open.

Thanks for your reply hwahwahwahwa, like I was telling Peter, I really don't want to take credit cards, but it's one of ebay's store rules. Prior to that (& currently) I'll only accept paypal balance transfers & echecks-I just refuse payment if they bring me over the limit & I let them know that right off. I do accept cc through BidPay, which costs buyers $5 (ouch!) per transaction...mainly overseas buyers use it in my experience...anyway, I'm going to see if that will meet ebay's requirement. Thanks for all your help!
