When I posted a way to halt the incredibly annoying pop up ads that Auction Watch feels a need to inflict on us, they lock the thread.
The message they are sending is clear.
They like Pop Up ads and don't care about their users.

I'm glad I don't pay for any of their 'services'.

Worry not, comicscardsandmore. Joice locked that thread to avoid having a flurry of anti-popup threads in the EO, but you can still vent your anti-popup sentiment in this thread:

(Edited for typo... cat on my lap, hard to type.)

True AW now has popups that hide them selves behind the main window now.

But once again just like Ebay and some of its change they are only listing to there users.

Remember all the complaints about the flashing java banners over the past month notice no more banners ontop of the message board pages to flash in your face just a popup window that hide in the back ground.

it was user who requested the flashing java banners be removed because they were annoying.

comicscardsandmore,

The issue of the ads is a very frustrating one and from reading in the Services forum stems from a change in ad servers. A resolution is being worked out.

This issue has a thread in almost every forum at AuctionWatch. All I ask is that you post your concerns in the Feedback forum in the Services area or to the thread that is already going in the Ebay Outlook.

There are users that are able to minimize the ad, making them immune to more of the same, yet there are many with netscape that are still crashing. This is obviously of grave concern to AW.

The first news of resolution will most likely come from the Services forums.

I'm locking this thread as well, only so that we don't overwhelm the forums with issues that are being addressed by the PTB.
