Hi.
Call 1-800-ASKUSPS or here is the url for tracking http://www.usps.com/shipping/epstrac.htm But lately the over $50.00 insurnace slips I have aren't on record. Anyone else having trouble finding out when the packages were delivered? I guess the want you to purchase seperate delivery confirmaiton.

I asked this recently at the post office and I was told that they are scanning the barcodes but for their own internal purposes. Online tracking is available only with DC (or SC=Signature Confirmation).

Odd this should be brought up as I just spoke to a fellow ebayer yesterday about this. When I had checked on www.usps.com under the track auction link, I was sure I had been able to check the insured items (blue slip) in the past but the past several weeks the response had always been that "tracking not purchased for this item". Well, I knew that both post offices I used had scanned the slips. My friend also advised that they had, in the past, been able to track the insurance numbers as well as the delivery confirmation numbers on-line but also were, now, unable to track the blue slips. I checked with one of the branches and they advised that there is a "fee" now for them to pursue an blue slip insured number but no fee for a green delivery confirmation slip. So you can check a .40c delivery confirmation but not a $2.00 insured item! Hope to hear more from other posts.

ok. so that's how it is.
do you guys know of any minimum period you have to wait before filing complaint?
I ordered something from this girl a few weeks ago, suppose to have arrived about 10 days ago. But still nothing. She insured it and also give me the tracking number.
anyway, anyway at all to know exactly when the package came missing, this is very very very very frustrating.

Got one that I insured AND put DC on. Enter the DC and get information. Check the Insurance code and it says "tracking not purchased for this item" which leads me to believe that tracking is an option on insured packages (more $$$) from before they had DC for $.40.
Funny -- This package my buyer is claiming not to have received.
