I'm a rather small but consistant seller on Ebay, and still use Photopoint to post my pics (even paid for their service, now) and their site has been down since yesterday, I can't even logon, and none of my pics come up on my items listed. Anyone hear of anything going on with them or have an email address to contact them?
Can anyone recommend a free image hosting site in the meantime?

At first I just thought it was simply an outage of some kind, but I am starting to wonder.
I sent a bunch of pics in last night and I received a notice for each one that said "Photopoint is not accepting photos at this time".
That's odd, since whenever the site was just down, the pics would just bounce back as undeliverable. It seems as if there has been a deliberate step taken to discontinue the acceptence of pics.
I'll wait another day before initiating a chargeback and finding another pic service.
You hear that Photopoint? Tick, tick, tick tick.....

See the thread here about photopoint "Is it true about photopoint." That should answer your questions...they're history!

I have tried several image hosting sites for my auction listings. I am currently using BayPal. They have both free and paid services and have been 100% reliable for me thus far.

dschulma- I'm having a problem with my photopoint images and I see that you wrote an email stating there was a link with information. I don't see that link in your post. Can you resubmit? Thanks

The thread is a new question posted a few lines above where you found this thread. I tried calling Photopoint and got no answer. Unfortunately I paid my fees with my PayPal Debit account. I just called Paypal and let them know the situation. She said that it is their policy not to issue chargebacks on Debit Card purchases but she would forward the information to the Debit Card Department for review. If this looks like a chronic problem where a lot of customers used their Debit Cards for this, they may have to do something. If you used a credit card company call them immediately. I only had about 25 pics for my auctions up but I have lost many pics of my family. What a bummer this has been. I don't have time for this, why didn't photopoint issue a warning, give people the opportunity to retrieve their photos?
