How many others have picked up the mis-spelling on ebay's home page? Sheesh! Pls, somebody tell them!

I just ran their homepage through spellcheck, and the only misspellings are in the auction titles of the featured auctions, which is out of their hands.

Care to enlighten us on this gross misspelling?

I found it right away. Checked it in Encarta and it says "No matches found"

Shame on ebay!

Well, there's one word on the homepage that appears twice - spelled differently - so I'm thinking one of them is incorrect.

The only word I found misspelled was "memorabilia", which they spelled memoribilia. I think is a typographical error and not a misspelling,
because they spelled it correctly in other
areas on the same home page.

In the great realm of eBay offenses, this does seem to be a wee bit on the minor side!
Excuse the very large yawn

ebay can't spell? They're just a "venue." The people working there may not be able to spell though

Okay spotlight's on such and such would mean spotlight is on such and such. That's correct.

The other spelling error is bad, bad, bad.

Okay, now I know why my spell check didn't pick it up: It is a .GIF picture.

OH NO! HOW DARE THEY! OH THE HUMANITY! I am closing my account immediately!

Seriously, as long as the site stays up while my auctions are up, I could really care less if they misspell every word on the website.

"As Mark Twain once said, `You should never trust a man who has only one way to spell a word'." -- Vice President Dan Quayle, actually quoting from President Andrew Jackson.
