Surfing Ebay is becoming downright UNBEARABLE with all the extra time wasted due to the banner hangtime.

Isn't there ANY WAY to avoid these?

I absolutely DO NOT understand why Ebay would make it more frustrating for buyers to go back and forth between search results pages and auction pages.

I cannot emphasize enough how brutally annoying this is. It's making me (and no doubt others) a lot less inclined to spend time on the site.

i am useing a combination of webwasher and adsubtract. it works.

WOW!

I just installed the "Webwasher" and it works great!

Oooooo, I bet those banner ad guys are gonna be PO'ed as these programs start to flourish!

Of course many great sites will founder if no one clicks on banner ads, so I hope that many people still click away---better them than me!!

My husband found out that if you use adsubtract and you use Norton Antivirus software there will be a conflict. Adsubtract will prevent Norton from being able to get the latest virus definitions. This is for the automatic updates and also for doing the update manually. I'd rather deal with popups than be left vulnerable to the latest computer virus. My husband feels the same way and got rid of adsubtract in order to have the latest virus protection updates.
