I purchased some guy hobby items at a yard sale a couple of weeks ago. Spent $7 on one and $11 on the other. Totally flying blind here, doing the math, hoping that they'd sell for at least $21 and $33 respectively.
One ended at over $50 and the other at about $100!
Large woman does happy dance late Sunday night! (Thank heaven she leaves the curtains closed.)

Please hurry- what were they? I know the feeling, but wife reminds me when I get disappointed over a sale "But remember the 'whatever' you made out on!"

First of all CONGRATULATIONS!!
See Sadie, all of us are gamblers, otherwise why would we get so excited when we REALLY win a few, and then put up with oh well, ok on all the rest. I am giving this auction business a bit of a rest til I can get back in the OH MY GOD frame of mind!!
