I don't have any plans to ever use gegy simply because I'm bothered by the name and especially by the "green guy."

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I got a little suspicious when I tried to run a Dun & Bradstreet report on the company and came up empty handed. Then I wasn't able to locate the company's incorporation papers either here in the US or in Canada using an international legal research service. The more I dug, the less I found. And now this. I was so hoping my gut & my research were wrong....

I started to get EagleAuction spam a while ago and they wouldn't take me off their mailing list, but I got even <evil grin>.
I'm with RainyBear on this one, the name and that green guy are disturbing for some reason. Gegy sounds like baby-talk; "Gegy make a poopsy"? "Gegy want his bottle"? And as far as that logo/mascot/green guy/whateveritis, nothing a pound of Exlax couldn't cure, I'm sure.

Gegy was dead before it even started. From what I have seen it was a carefully plotted plan. The whole thing was built on hype. I wonder how long it will be before they change to another name and try again? lol

And I agree! I haven't quite been able to put my finger on why those two things bother me so - almost like someone is thumbing his nose at us, and thinking we won't get it, or something. "Gegy" is also too close to "gaggy" . . .
