Hello,
I came across some religious pamphlets today while shopping. There are three. I remember reading (here at AW) that someone had had good luck selling these. So at 10 cents a piece, I figured it was worth a try. But I just don't know what catagory to list them in. And should I list them separately or as a lot? Here is what I have:
1) Mother Seton booklet. about the foundress & first superior of The Daughter's of Charity in the US.
At the bottom of the first page it says Saint Joseph's College Emmitsburg, Maryland 1933.
Anyone heard of The Daughters of Charity? With it are also 5 little pink pieces of paper that tell about Mother Seton and list memorable dates in her life. Each of the 5 pink papers are the same. Dated 1935. Both the booklet and the papers also mention "Feast of Corpus Christi". Then there is also a blue paper that tells of (and pictures) Mother Seton's Spring in Emmitsburg, MD.
2)Little black pamphlet titled "Jesus Come to Me" Dated Sept, 5, 1924 eighth edition. With this there is a little card that has the "Indulgenced Prayer for the hour of death". Also with these is a little card with a quite detailed picture of a woman and a child with halos holding a rosary. The card says "Regina Sacratifsimi Rosarii" The picture has a very detailed desin around it in raised relief.
3)"A guide for gaining the Indulgence of the Extraordinary Jubilee Outside the City of Rome." Souvenir of the Nineteenth Centenary of the Redemption of Mankind. Dedicated to the queen of martyrs. Copywrite 1935
I'm not a very religious person and I really don't understand any of what I have here. I would appreciate any help at all!
I can email pics to anyone who may be able to help.
