Does eBay allow HTML links to be put in someone's feedback rating? I'd like to do that for a deal that went bad, since the 80 characters given by eBay can't adequately describe what I have to say about the deal.

No, and it would make it eligible for feedback removal.

Not Spottydoggy anywhere but here!

Thanks. Does that also count for posting URLs, without the HTML link?

Yes, URL links can be tossed as well.

Just say:

"Email me for the details of this transaction."

I had a real ordeal with a nutcase who wanted to return a book. I told him he could return the book and when it was received in good condition he would receive a refund. He sent me a series of vulgar emails demanding that I send him his purchase price shipping both ways and a handling fee FIRST then he would send my book back --after of course waiting two weeks for my check to clear. Among his nine negs were complaints that sounded similar and that he'd not returned the mdse as promised.

I restated my offer to refund the purchase price and postage both ways and he responded with more vulgar emails and a neg that included a url to his webpage with a long rant including pictures that included my Name and Shipping address on the return address label. Even though he'd been informed twice that the package was insured via UPIC he accused me of fraud because the cost of insurance wasn't included in the postage sticker.

Ebay removed the feedback almost immediately and suspended his account for having the url in the feedback. Because of the suspension he can't leave any feedback for me at all.

The big no no's for feedback
1 Any mention that ebay or safeharbor is investigating the transaction.

2Any personal information about the person even using their name is grounds to have the feedback removed.

3Vulgarity or racial or ethnic slurs

4 hyperlinks or urls
