Hi,
Has any seller here ever been faced with a harrassing buyer threatening legal action, never going through with it and was basically just blowing hot air? If so, what was your experience and what was the outcome of that experience?

Every so often this type of problem is reported and discussed here. Assuming you've truly done nothing wrong, I'm not sure anyone has ever reported actually being sued or anything, which is consistent with human behavior - 99% of time people are just venting, and have no real intention to actually follow through and pay a lawyer or file a formal complaint. If you don't encourage them, most of them just plain go away on their own volition, as they get tired of sending you emails that never get answered. With luck yours will fall into this category as well.
Unlike JMHO2's customers, some bidders are irrational, no matter how hard you as a seller try to avoid the situation, and just start spouting off vague threats. Statistically, I wouldn't worry about it, unless you think this is a wacko who knows where you live and might actually show up in your driveway with a gun, in which case report them to your local authorities.
