I ask for the forbearance of the AW moderators Auctiva Support will not respond to my help inquiries and my posts in the Auctiva discussion boards have been deleted. Do any Auctiva users know whose cage to rattle to get some response from Auctiva? My email is on.

I use Auctiva 2.71 and when I have troubles I email the support people, I receive an email right after I click send,
and with in a few days they direct me to where they posted my ans. to my problem.

I go there and read their response and ans. it with weather I have fixed the problem like they tell me or if not, I tell them, and they respond to the new problem.
Try email the support......

Might just as well spend some time trying to figure it out yourself as anything more difficult than "what is my username?" will never be answered.

After waiting almost 2 weeks for a bit of help, I finally gave up, figured it out myself and got it working--marginally but more or less functional. That was after a VP offered to personally monitor my support request and two unanswered replies to his email making that offer.

There is a tremendous opportunity here for someone to provide straightforward posting/management software--I'd be first in line if all they did was promise to maintain a dialog with responses at least once every 24 hours.

At least I've found that the Auctiva support works better than Ebay's support! I never get answers to my questions to Ebay. Auctiva does answer, but sometimes it takes awhile.

What exactly is your problem with Auctiva?

I've used this service for years and love it.
Maybe I can help. btw they've always answered me just about within 3 hrs. time.
Can you say exactly what the problem is? Maybe email me privately @ [email protected]

I was getting ready to post new subject when I saw this. Does anyone have a problem with Ebud/Auctiva Manager being a huge drain on their system resources? I fire up everything but that and my computer is operating around 77-80% and then when I put them in the mix it plummets down to 50-55%. I just emailed them about it but thought someone might have a quick fix. I have plenty of hard disk, ram, dsl connection etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My problem is a BILLING problem. Everybody check your CC statements

Yeah, Auctiva programs are terrible resource pigs. If you have real problems with your resources all you might do is close other apps. I think that people can be a little obsessed with resource percentages. If your resource meter stays green you shouldn't have any problems. On my machine I'll run in the yellow zone frequently and I've never had noticable problems.

You can find and launch your resource meter in Windows98SE START>PROGRAMS>ACCESSORIES>SYSTEMTOOLS>RESOURCEMETER.

Yeah, I'm not worried about the % as much as actual performance and that is being affected. Ebud slows down to a crawl when processing data although it's receiving data much quicker due to now having dsl. As far as billing, I just bought more time and the charge showed up today and it was for the right amount.
