About two or 3 months ago, I bought an item from a Non-US seller. I never got it and posted negative feedback. She accidentally posted positive feedback for me not realizing that I had given her a negative. I thought the matter was over, but about a month or so ago, I had a buyer buy an item from me using Buy it Now. I sent several emails, but they never responded and they never paid. A few weeks ago, they posted negative feedback stating that they paid me through Paypal, and never got the item. I didn't get any payment or even an email from this person. I sent emails trying to figure out what was going on, but they still didn't answer. When I looked up the feedback that they have left recently and the auctions that they've won, I discovered that the only auctions that they're winning are those "information" auctions that are basically feedback sales AND a few auctions of the person I had given negative feedback to the month earlier. I AM SURE THAT THIS WAS DONE Just to tarnish my 100% positive feedback rating, but eBay won't do anything without proof. Is there any way to prove that something stinks here???

What a rotten situation. Do you think the person who negged you is the same person you negged, just using a different account? If she has left feedback for herself using two different accounts, she's shilling her own auctions, and if you can find a pattern of that, eBay will care (just keep the more complicated part about your transacations -- or non-transactions -- out of it).
Of course it could be two different people, but I'm with you, smells like a rat.

Pull their contact info, if it matches the other person... bingo! If not, try to look it up on 411.com. (Or whatever site will handle the non US info.) If it is bogus info, ebay will remove your neg on the basis of them not giving good info upon registration.

Thanks so much for the advice. I will check out 411.com. I'm not sure if they're the same person or just "partners". This person mentions partners on her "about me" page. I don't have the contact info. on the person who didn't ship my item because she had me send payment to a "partner" in the US. Unfortunately, eBay won't let me pull her contact info. now because its been too long. I know I tend to ramble, and this shouldn't really matter to me that much, but it just really bothers me. I know this is revenge. This "person" who didn't send my item has filed over 100 negative feedbacks and she has over 20 negatives, most for not sending items, but eBay won't do a thing.

danilynn - It is highly likely that eBay already has a file on this person, and even if they don't do anything now, your report will add to the pile, and may help in eventually getting this character NARU'd. I'd definitely notify SafeHarbor, but as RainyBear said, keep the more complicated part of your transaction out of it. Make your report very clear, but as simple as possible.

Thanks for your input too kudzurose. I did email eBay already, but all they did was look at the feedback history and say that it wasn't enough proof to establish a connection. Looks like I'm SOL unless one of them screws up big time.
