What are my options? I paid for an item, the buyer sent me an email over a month ago stating they received my money order, 2+ weeks ago I finally received an email stating they were mailing out the item. I still have not received the item. The only thing I can find on EBay to help me is a Fraud claim form. Is there any kind of claim form like the sellers have for non-paying bidders where after so many claims this seller gets kicked off? The person has several negative feedbacks in the last few weeks so I'm surprised she is still a registered user. I am familiar w/ how bad buyers can get kicked off EBay but how do bad sellers?

Thanks in advance for your advise.

Did you contact the seller to see if there is any verification that the package was shipped? It's hard to beleive, but the USPS does lose one every now and then.

Most sellers are good people, like yourself, so send them an email or grab their phone number from eBay and give them a call. These efforts should solve your problem.

What type of postage was used? If it went media mail it may well take up to 30 days. The post office even tells you that Priority mail can take up to 30 days to deliver.

Please, please contact the seller and ask for an explanation before you pursue other avenues.

Is there any chance the person is registered with Square Trade...do they display the logo on their auctions? If so you have extra fraud protection through them and they will attempt contact for you.

Good Luck!

Email them twice a week using progressive language, that is, becoming more demanding as time goes on. If the seller at least responds that says this is not a hit and run, common of fraud cases. It's possible the seller misplaced your item and is buying time, but time is almost up and you can demand refund of your money which you are legally entitled to after 30 days.
