My boss has asked me to resell some high end video cards on eBay that the company purchased but never used. It looks like Half.com might be an easier way to go and the sellers are asking higher prices over there than on eBay.
The question is whether or not the stuff will sell over there or will it just sit?
Anyone have any success stories with selling computer hardware on Half?

I can't help you with your question, but I did go over to half.com to look around in the computer section, and found this for sale:
128Mb PC133 SDRAM DIMM
Priority Mail + $25.00 Shipping
Yikes! And eBay buyers whine about an extra dollar!

Hi mrpotatoeheadd -
I'm happy just to get a reply to my posting at this point!
My boss was approached by her boss about how to dispose of this expensive inventory and she was aware that I sell on eBay so...
As a long time loyal employee of course I want to help but I also want to do it as efficiently as possible since it will be be in addition to my regular job duties.
Half.com would take up less of my time but might take longer to unload the goods.
eBay is more labor intensive from the standpoint of having to babysit auctions.
I guess I could also try both.
I just need to be able to explain the pros and cons of either method plainly enough for a non eBay literate boss to understand.
On computer & electronic items, Half.com allows the seller to set the shipping price.
