I just received Priority Mailing tubes from USPS. They have changed the item # from 1098
to 1098M. #1098 was perfect for my product since it was 38" in length and opened lengthwise. The new one 1098M is the same length, but it only opens on the ends.
I've been unable to locate this tube from other suppliers.I would appreciate any imput on where it might be found.

are you speaking of the triangle shaped ones??, if so they must have just changed because i revc'd 8 boxes of the triangle tubes and they are they are the side closing type. the new ones sound like they will throw a wrench into some of my uses too. i have been taping a couple together etc., guess i will now be slicing the sides.
