I don't sell on Half.Com anymore,I guess its a great place to buy something dirt cheap, but from what I see it has totally detroyed the book market and video sales on E-Bay. I still sell on Amazon Marketplace with no problem. But alot of videos have bottomed out in price on E-Bay so bad I don't list them there anymore.I guess the next thing to die will be DVDs.

Video prices have dropped everywhere. Unless it's new or hard to get, the average video is under $10. I bought videos on Bidville for $4.00 a piece.

In the bad old days when I was still doing furniture restoration, I met an a man at an auction who was buying really beat camelback trunks. I asked what he was going to do with the trunks and he told me that he was going to fix them up and resell them. I knew just how much time and effort would be involved and I knew what a trunk like these would sell for and told him that I could never make wages redoing a trunk on spec and how did he? He laughed and told me that he didn't count his time!

I just bought 5 DVDs for $48 shipped at Half com. It looks as though Half com is where I will make my DVD purchases.
As more DVD players are sold, VHS tapes will continue to fall in price. But I didn't expect DVD price to be this low so quickly.

Since the purchase is via credit card, I'm not worried about the seller's feedback. Products that don't arrive or are defective, my money is returned with a phone call.
This was my second purchase of DVDs through Half com, the first went off without a hitch.

half of listed price makes sense when books are just out of print and there are many remainder copies or just used copies from private homes.
you can also buy hurts by the yard or pallets if you have a loading dock.
