I had a seller send me a refund through Billpoint. When I sent the payment I had them send me an invoice, I did not register with Billpoint. I aksed them to cancel and send it through Paypal and they said they couldn't. I have no idea how to get my money. I tried registering with BP and still nothing. Any ideas? I have a reference number they sent me.

Once you are a member of Billpoint you give them your checking info they automatically deposit all funds in to your checking account takes about 4 to 5 days.

or if you make another purchase and use billpoint to pay they will take money pending your account frist and the balance from your CC as I under stand it.

I did sign up for Billpoint, and it does not show the money that was already sent to me BEFORE I signed up.

E-MAIL & PRINT OUT ALL INFO FROM ALL PARTIES. Send to your District US Congress(person), both US Senators, FTC, FCC, (USPS Inspectors???), US DOJ, & Congressional Committees Investigating Internet Auction Frauds, Payment Services, and Abuses. NEVER USE Checking Account Debit Systems, Credit Cards, or Automatic-Withdrawal again. If you have Good Feedback and if Sellers will not take your Personal Checks, they don't Trust you. You can't Trust THEM! They have your Money AND your Auction Item! Why do Buyer's use "Billpoint", "Paypal", Etc.? You are giving all your Financial Info and Control over to Strangers who can Destroy your credit Rating and Bank Accounts. Indeed, your Personal ID! They have a good Start on it already, don't they? - PJ38-

Personally I LIKE the online payment services and in all 170 buying transactions, and over 500 selling this is my first problem. I am sure it can be easily solved, I just can't figure out how. As far as personal info goes, I had to give the US census ALL of my personal info under penalty of law, including how much I make, how I get to work ,what time I go to work, how much money I have in investments...Wait until you have to fill out one of those forms, it will make giving your bank account not seem like that big of deal. In the state of Iowa they even use your Social security number as your Drivers Liscene number, printed right there for the world to see. Unless you live in a cave, SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE, knows your personal info!

Ok keep in mind when a seller issues a refund it takes 5 to 7 days for billpoint to get the money from there checking account seller must ok it dends how fast there bank is.

once that tranfer is complete you will receive a notice from paypal you received the refund and the fund will be deposited.

Ubtill you Receive notice from bill point refund was made assume the seller hasn't made the refund yet or tranfer from there bank to bill point hasn't cleared yet..
