I am a "power seller" on Ebay and have very good systems for designing auctions, hosting pictures, tracking auctions, making labels that I have developed over time and I use Misterlister to list. I am looking for software to send e-mails at the end of auctions. I would also like something to relist unsold items but that is less important. Most of the software that I have looked at charges listing charges, FVF, and/ or monthly charges which are really too high for just sending e-mail. Any suggestions?
I use Auction Tamer only for end of auction emails. It costs a flat fee of $39.95 ($49.95 if you choose the "non-advertising" mode). And I use vrane.com for relisting--$8.95 for 500 relists over a 6-month period; $11.95 for 1000 relists over a 6-month period. Actually vrane also sends out emails, but their interface is so unwieldy that I haven't tried it.

Auction Trakker - only way to go. I have tried them all. Bill Hilton designed it and is heavily involved personally in the ongoing support. This is a great comfort to high volume sellers (as I am) who need reliable software that keeps up with all the quirky stuff ebay throws at us. He is always on top of things and will personally answer your questions if you have a problem. The program is superior but the support group and the forum are the best!!

I use Auctiva.com and its great. Terrific auction management and posting. There is a 30 day free trial as with most auction software just try out a few then use the one that you like the best.
Papertails, I dont think it works for Mac's though. Sorry
