hi
ok so this is not exactly an ebay question although the contact with this loser is from an ebay sale which he was a deadbeatbidder on.......QUESTION 1...is there a way to block email from a sender to my excite acct.?? i looked and saw a spam tool but it did not appear to work

QUESTION 2.....is this a lame attempt to send a virus. this is what he repeatedly sends me...........

mx02.earthl<-*->OFNARSR,Ai[s]F8FA)8F310[ Od9OsOi[s]F8Fa08F31O@dz1s1[s]F8Fa08F310SnF_s*i[s]F8FAO8F3IO8Fzs_i[s]F8FAO Bi[s]F8FAO8F3IOnuil[s]F8FAO8F3<-*->

i am wondering if excite had a virus scanner that blocked it from me or what.the "F8Fa08F31o@dz1s1" appears to be a clickable link which i did not click on............

any ideas on if i can block this sender and if it was indeed a lame attempt at a virus

i scanned and i am virus free plus i forwarded a copy to abuse at his ISP.......thanks

No I don't think this is a virus I think they are typeing with forgein font that your browser can't translate.

they are not typeing with the standard keyboard setup

They are trying to tell you something could even be that payment is on the way here is my address ....

But we will never know

damn
thanks for the input but i can tell you this , it was definetly not telling me payment is on the way...this guy is american, claimed to mail payment, never arrived, then he proceeds to hassle me thru email. claims m.o was sent so i must send item even though i did not receive. he sees me selling like item and says it is his i am reselling, even though i tell him i have over 12 of them, and i do...he refuses to trace m.o or attempt to stop payment. he does finally send me a copy of m.o but that does me no good as i can not trace because i did not purchase it, so the bank says.......anyway all this time he keeps saying he bid too much anyway..........a loser from the word bid....

it is definetly not a coded message saying payment is on the way, in wish it was that simple........
