Hey everyone! I know upselling is not allowed on Ebay. BUT, I think I did read somewhere on this board that you can have a link off your About Me page? Am I right? What is your take on the rules about it? Sue (dave61's other half)

Straight from ebay rules:
"eBay does not permit its users to place the following types of links on your About Me pages:
Links that directly offer any non-eBay listing or merchandise on the About Me page itself
Links to other online trading sites or pages, including auctions and fixed-price formats
Links to sites offering the same merchandise for the same or lower price (including the Buy It Now price)
Links to sites offering merchandise not permitted on eBay"

~~~~~~~We read your detailed answers to the Topic Question, but we can't be the only ones that have linked quickly to Sites that list Yahoo, eBay, and a third "Venue?". It's confusing. It's contradictory. - J -
Now as I understand it is that you can link from your about me page to your website if it is a double click. That is the only place that ebay will let you direct buyers to other merchandise, but remember that your identical merchandise that is on ebay and in your website, the website price has to be higher than ebay. I will bet there will be many answers to this question.
