If a buyer doesn't respond to your emails, how long do you wait until you relist the item?

What is the time frame? If E-mail, Computer, Delivery is a problem, try a quick 1st Class Letter first. now with "Responses" as well as "NEGS", you may receive a Double Whammy. Cost/Benefit analysis of a Re-Listing before a NEG alleging you are a NSS, "BEWARE" NEG & Response becomes part of your FB. -PJ187-

Lacey:

I wait a couple of weeks. Things happen - sometimes people have personal problems. I do send three e-mails before I give up. I recently had a seller not send an EOA, so I e-mailed her - still no response. I e-mailed again - nothing. Third time, I e-mailed and said if I didn't hear from her I would leave a neg. She finally e-mailed, full of apologies. Apparently, another buyer with a very similar name bought another item and she confused us. She was very gracious, offering free shipping for the mix-up.

Sometimes patience pays off!

I state in my EOA that payment is due within 2 weeks or the item will be relisted. I do request that they email me with their address and how they will be paying within three days. I would say around 30% never email me but still pay with check/mo. After 2 weeks I send a NPB through Ebay. They have 10 days to get the payment to me or I file FVF.

The hardest part is that one never knows if the seller or buyers email is getting through. Both email servers have to communicate with each other for the email to get through. I've had cases where I filed with Ebay and a customer ended up calling me and saying that everytime she emailed me, it would bounce. I don't believe she was lying but to my knowledge I wasn't having problems. So was it me or her? She did pay me immediatlely. I just had a case where a buyer is having a fit and said he would leave "bad" feedback because I filed a NPB and said he never received my EOA announcement which I did send. As for webtv users, I have terrible problems getting through to them.
