My goodness, I had a few beers with my husband last night and spent all morning fixing spelling errors, putting pictures back that I deleted!!! What a dough head.

Never launch auctions or decide to clean your photo gallery while intoxicated!!!!!

You gave me my first laugh of the morning.

I have made the same mistake and learned not to drink white russians while listing. Big mistake!

TEE HEE,

Yup, been there done that!

I've learned not to even turn the computer on after only having 2 beers. A big NO NO for me.

Teehee!

Have you ever been arrested for BUI?

DH has caught me Bidding Under the Influence more than once, now ~
Pretty amusing the things one shops for while intoxicated...

One of my favorite quotes from an AW thread:

LOL - Guess that means the same for drugs! I am having a little minor surgery tomorrow and will be taking the rest of the week off. I was hoping to get some auctions up and running while I have the free time. After seeing this post, I may have changed my mind!

Thanks guys, glad to know I am not the only one....Tooo funny

I do have to admit I am a recovering BUI, I cant even tell you how good things looked the night before, only to wake up and think "Oh God, What have I done, that is the most god-awful thing, not to mention I could have bought it at the store cheaper!!!!"

Well I learned a valuable lesson last night, I would guess I lost some buy it nows too. Who would want to buy a Tommy Hilfinger outfit

AH HA! It was probably one of you who sent me a PayPal payment this morning for double the amount owed and provided no shipping address. Am I to donate the extra money to Mothers Against Drunk eBayers or use it to ask Miss Cleo where to ship your item?

p.s. Do you realize the confessions made in this thread could explain A LOT?

TBJ,

lol. Very funny.

I listed an auction at 4AM, and it also came out horrible once.

I spent several hours on Saturday nite up against the wall at a bar. My saying for the night:

I AM THE WEAKEST LINK

Oh, what a fun wedding that was

Thanks for the laughs, everyone!

Having a cold one while listing is okay. Only one problem. (Yo...JERRY12) These pretzels are making me thirsty!

Quite a few years ago, I realized that what I thought was hideous and horrible, some customers loved. Well--being on line a few years--it's the same thing.

Sometimes you need a bit of a hefty jolt to appreciate some of these "treasures" you are describing in your auctions.

I love Ebay!

umm--edited to add-- I have been know to revise auctions the next morning for inexplicable errors. [ edited by jeanyu on Aug 9, 2001 04:44 PM ]

Make sure you stay beneath 100 proof, or you may end up listing a used flea collar in a Bold Face Titled, Home Page Featured, Private Auction, for 10 days, using escrow services.
