Greetings good people! I have learned SOOOOO much from each and everyone of you. I am sure you answered this question before, but I never paid attention because it didn't apply to me....until now.

I have a would-be-customer in the UK who would like to buy an item that she was unable to win a bid on. The problem is the shipping to the ÜK is RIDICULOUS!!!! With UPS they are chargiing 68 dollars. With USPS they are talking 23 and FED EX doesn't ship there at all (to the location in question) So I don't have any other alternative. or do I? That's where you good people come in. The item is only worth 3.30 for crying out loud. then it only weights 3 pounds. On top of that the box I am shipping it in is only 18 x 12 x 8

Could someone PLEASE show me the light in inexpensive International shipping.

WHOA! You have several options. Go to the USPS international rate calculator and enter the info.

She might want to consider shipping it surface rather than airmail. A bit cheaper than the airmail but slower.

Just because the price of it was $3.30 doesn't really relate to the shipping. If she knew it was heavy, she knew she was going to have to pay.

Of course, if you can scrunch it into a priority envelope..it's even cheaper

you can ship global priority mail up to 4 lbs in their standard envelope,they come 2 sizes,then one size for a box,i believe the cost of the box is 40 dollars.
surface mail to uk is not too bad,it is worth pursuing surface mail.

Surface letter-post is $8.70

Depending what the item is, I ship most of my stuff to the UK by air letter post...
