One week bidders are out in force. The next week, no sign of them. Conspiracy theory? Abductions? A secret getaway from eBay resort? What gives?!

Like everything else, auctions are seasonal. You will find things slow down a bit after the first of the year, and then really drag after schools close as people have kids at home and go on vacation. It picks up a bit when school starts, and really gets going as the holidays approach. Also, plan to sell things used in the summer months in the warm weather, and things for entertaining in the colder months. Some people sell clothes and they also use the season of year to know what to list. Hope this helps.
