Anybody have any experience with I Snipe It or other sniping software? I used esnipe, but not lately just wondering if anything else seems viable.

Ran across this yesterday. Bidding/sniping sofware. Its not clear whether it is free or shareware. Not designed for auction management... just for bidding/sniping.

I just started using it and it works fine. I've also used PCTechzone's Snipe for many years. Lately connection to eBay is very flaky with timeouts and stalls. if I do a tracert to ebay there is no problem with my ISP but I get all kinds of timeouts in the exodus network which connects to eBay. Well because of this I believe my old snipe "times out" and goes into limbo. I snipe it apparently continues to check and has worked OK.
PCtechzone has a new version in Beta test which is more compatible with W2K and this appears to work fine. Because it is beta, I am going to ask for 1 thing I wish for that none of these programs provide: a user comment field. Wouldn't it be great to see "this is the one w the broken mirror" etc without having to go to the items constantly!
