I've been selling on the net for about 3 years now, and have practiced a simple way of selling. Just be honest and straight farward. Thats it!!! Sellers: Please state your shipping/handling costs and terms clearly in your auction descriptions, (no hidden fee's), If you hide anything, it will bite you back!! garranteed. Buyers: please read the descriptions in full, and understand them before bidding. Its real easy to get excited and place a bid, and then realize that you forgot to read the shipping/handling terms. When you place a bid, you have entered a contract to accept the buyers terms.
Auctions are great fun!!! And so they should be!! Just a little effort on the sellers and the Buyers part will continue to make them fun. Good Luck to all.

A qualifier on that.

I list a rate for Shipping and Handling. That's all the buyer needs to know. They don't need a breakdown of x is shipping, y is handling, z is other.

A seller indicating their shipping and handling total up front is as "honest" as they need to get. Anything else is NOT the buyer's business.
