Allright, so we all know that at times, eBay IS nothing more than a giant game, some of the more familiar game plots listed here:

Seller moves forward 2 spaces lands on "eBay Raises Fees" space has to go back to start
Seller lands on eBay Downtime (there are LOTS of those spaces on the board) goto "no sell" do NOT collect refund fees
Seller lands of "Deadbeat" space, do NOT collect FVF fees, do NOT get paid, goto "Relist Item"
And on and on and on....

But today while shoppin' in Wally World, the kids bring me an honest to goodness electronic game of eBay. From my quick browse of the game, it appears that the object of the game is sniping! I was gonna buy it, just for fun, but figured I'd wait a month & pick it up from the clearance bin!

Here in New England we are BAKED and then some.

96* here and I played in a golf tournament, almost passed out on the 18th green.

I have received an unsolicited email from eBay touting their new takeoff on Monopoly, the trademarked game, and my ability to purchase it online.

Gag me with a spoon.

Do not pass go.
Do not sell perfectly legal items because PETA influences your VENUE (antique tortoiseshell), go to jail because safeharbor can't figure out who the bad guy is. Buy some worthless property because ebay allows scammers & lowlifes to proliferate.

Sell tons of phoney branded merchandise because it is advertised *authentic* in your auction. I could go on and on.

As I mentioned before, gag me.

OMG, you PLAYED golf!..I'm in NY and I think we topped out at 96 degrees..I walked the parking lot at WW & then again at the supermarket & thought I was doin' good!....You musta died out there!!!!....I feel like the wicked witch, I'm [/b]MELTING![/b]

I've seen the eBay/Monopoly game, I even have something like it - Netopoly, which is amusing cause alot of the .coms are .gone now!...The one I saw today was kinda like Hands Down (anyone remember that one?) and the object was to bid, bid, bid!!!...

BTW, I think that "gag me with a spoon" is one of the actions on the chance cards in eBayopoly, right after you get hit with higher fees!

NOW I know what this deadbeat customer of mine meant! (This is her actual email)

I am sorry that I have not gotten your payment off to you. I am only to send a check if you will except it. My card is maxed. I play on the ebay to much and maxed my credit card.

Anyone see the DotCom Monopoly game? Yahoo and Excite are Boardwalk and Park Place, and Ebay is just New York Ave.
