Uh Oh! AOL had the same problem about 3 weeks ago. It also means if you have auctions up with pics hosted on your ftp space...they'll have the dreaded red X. Sure enough..just checked the 3 auctions I have up that I hosted the pics on AOL...NO PICS! I'm glad I put the majority of my auctions on AW! If you contact AOL they'll just tell you they're working on it. I think I'll stick with AW from now on!

it happens when ebay is having problem uploading our pics from our pc via ipex.
could it be possible that aol sellers all tried to use their aol space to add pictures, hence maxing out number of users going after that area

Oh, I hope someone can answer this soon...due to the problems eBay is having w/ Ipix, I've uploaded some photos to AOL's myftpspace.

Trouble is, I can't remember what the web address is for AOL photos. (Dumb question, I know.)

Thanks a heap!!

I had auctions ending tonight and none of my pics were available. Hence, no sniping. Dang. Called AOL and the techy didn't have a clue. Gave me some silly thing to do that didn't do anything. Finally asked for customer service, explained I lost a good bit of money due to their server problems and the least they could do was provide me with a free month of service.

I can now access all but 1 of my FTPs. And that one looks like it is dead in the water. Getting strange info on it and cannot upload to it????

Makes me very happy that after 5 years we recently dumped AOL for DSL...........funny thing is that our account is now inactive but all of our pictures are still available in our ftp space! I looked back through our closed auctions and all of the photos remain.

Calling AOL for any assistance if futile.......

.....however, you will get a months free service if you complain long enough!

Yeeee dogeee, ya just can't get enough...

bad connections,
slow connections,
no connections,
booted connections,
lock-ups,
run-arounds,

now AOL is GIVING them away!

I didn't want to leave after soooo long but now that we did it's great!

(until AOL/Time Warner buys Ameritech also)

As an ex-aoler, I believe that if you get fired by Microsoft and McDonalds, you end up doing tech support at aol.

> I believe that if you get fired by Microsoft and McDonalds, you end up doing tech support at aol.<

You also have to have been fired from your job as a greeter at WalMart......if that's even possible.

However, once fired from AOL you are eligible for ebay's VERO policing program!
