sucky on Ebay as far as bids for me. Anyone else? Or is everyone sitting in a corner counting their money?

not so good for me either, furkidmom. half closed with one bid, some with none. luckily i had/have 2 kind of hot items with bidding wars or i'd be very very discouraged!

Poor week here, too. Guess peeps are out trying to grab a last week of vacation, or out buying school clothes.

Have had two good weeks (had pretty good stuff though). Except, I'm sitting in a corner waiting for the money to arrive. Sure hope it will!

My week went very well...sold most everything and got above-expected bids on a couple of items...so I'm happy!

Sold everything but one item. The bid amounts were quite a bit lower than usual though.

Though I had one item go more than three times the reserve, mostly it's slow enough that I'm taking some time to get ready for fall. I may list 5 auctions on Thursday and five on Sunday, but that's it, and only 'cuz I get neurotic when there's nothing on my seller's list.

I can't complain.
July was the best month I've had on eBay in three years.
But I've also been listing like crazy.

The last 2 weeks or so have been bad for me too. But like Sadie, I tend to get ansy when my sellers list has less than 5 auctions running.
I just "know" this has to turn around soon - please oh please say it will!

I don't know about all those other buyers, but I haven't been going to Ebay the last couple of weeks because I would always access those auctions through AW's Universal Search. I found these message boards while trying to find out why Ebay was dropped from the search. Now I'm as addicted to reading these as I was to placing bids before. I suppose if I were to replace my home page option to Ebay's Search page (is currently AW), I'd take up buying again, but I think I'll stick to the message boards awhile - I'm learning lots (am considering becoming a small-time seller) ... and I'm saving money, too.

This week has been good for sales, but bad for the quality of bidders. I have had a number of what appears to be people who may not pay. I have not received as many of the normal replies to EOM and emails, etc. Also a number of people who don't read the EOM and emails that I send immediately at the end of auctions. It just gets to be depressing sometimes. Maybe it will get better in September.

Things have been very slow on Ebay for me - 1 sale and one bid closing tomorrow.. and that's it..
In the same time period I've made 3 half.com sales... This is really scary... Half.com is outselling Ebay.. I think I'll cry... and then list more stuff on half.com. 8)

Sales have been decent, but receivables have been very slow to arrive. It seems that many folks are taking their time to pay us. Not good for cash flow. I'm guessing it's the end of summer vacations and getting ready for back to school that is on buyer's minds.

Just opened My Ebay...
Heard crickets...
Thought I had a bid last night...
Turned out to be only a tumbleweed...

I do an outdoor Flea Market every Sunday and things have been really good.I have been getting better prices than on the computer so I quit listing in June.I will definately go back to eBay with the good stuff in the fall though.I just think to many people are out enjoying the sun and don't want to waste time on a computer when they can get to the outdoor events and buy.I don't spend as much time on here either as in the winter but living in the north has alot to do with that.We do not have the luxury of year round outdoor yard sales and Flea Markets so we take advantage when we can.

I am very pleased with how my lots are going. I sell items with International appeal, but for pocket money prices. Guess I am finding bored school kids from around The World. This is not my trading name

Last week and this week have both been sucky! I relisted an item for first time ever and then got a rude email the next morning saying how ugly my item is. I've also gotten complaints about slow payments and lack of bidding from a friend who also sells. Must be in the air or something.
Although, I'm glad others are doing well

Last week was SO BAD that I actually had my husband drive down to the US to open a U.S. account so that I could return to Amazon to sell books on Marketplace ( of course amazon is still screwing me around even after I registered and paid for a pro merchant account~ silly me!)<p>I had listed 60 auctions and only about 30 sold! every low for me~ this week is a little better but still slow and it is kind of scary like when will it change! or it had better change or I will be selling my books for peanuts.
