I've suddenly started having a problem when I click on the Your Account tab in half.com. I get the Security Information box saying "This page contains both secure and nonsecure items. Do you want to display the nonsecure items?" Whether I click on yes or
no I get the following and am unable to get to my account:

"We're sorry. You have encountered a temporary error.
To try your request again, please click here, or use your browser's "Back"
button, and return to the previous page."

I am able to access my account using another
computer so it must be something in this one that I need to change. This just started now--I've been on the site several times today and have done nothing that should have caused this.

Anyone else having this problem and/or know what to do about it?

close browser, delete the contents of your temporary internet files folder and reopen browser to try again.

I was just there like 5 seconds ago to confirm a sale - so I know its OK right now.. if you're still having problems I'm guessing its on your end.

I discovered that the problem is definitely related to Internet Explorer because I can use Netscape to get right in. Spent about an hour on the phone with a tech guy and he couldn't solve the problem. But we even uninstalled IE and reverted to a previous version and it's still giving me the same trouble. Cleared the cache and all the usual fixes (changed various security settings, etc.).

The strange thing is that the problem is only with half.com and only since this afternoon. The only thing I did today that affected my system was to update my virus definitions on Norton.

If anyone is an expert on this sort of thing and has any ideas I'd be very willing to try them.
