Ever said you could do things better?
Here's the chance. There are currently 37 vacancies at eBay, mostly in San Jose.

It's a bit too far for me to travel!

humber2, That wouldn't be such a bad idea.
Many companies today put their executive staff on the floor for a few weeks to make sure that they understand the job from grass roots level.
If ebay execs had to buy and sell for a month or so like the rest of us, they might have a much better idea of how things should really work!

If ebay is going to lay anyone off, let's hope it some of the inept customer service drones from Salt Lake City. These threads are full of their idiotic decisions, inappropriate emails, and general inexperience in the realtime ebay buying and selling process.
I also resent their application of narrow moralistic interpretations to back issues of Playboy, drawings of topless mermaids, and the whole mature audiences fiasco.
Ebay writes rules which are unclear, and it seems the Salt Lake City CS folks each interpret them differently.
Like Charlie the tuna once said (sorta) we don't want CS people who are good, we want clear rules which are good!
