Hi, I bought these at a yard sale for 25 cents each. I just love them, they look so art deco.
I'm going to keep them, but just what are they? They seem too fragile to be any kind of plate.
They're both made of clear glass, and I'm not sure how the pattern is added.
My picture posting skills are not the best. I'm going to try one and if it shows up, I'll try the others. If not, I may need some HELP!

To post a picture, use:
[ img ]http://file location[ /img ]
Except, don't leave ANY space anywhere. Had to leave spaces in the brackets because it's the only way to show it.

gc2,
Take out the "src". That's not needed, just the http://

You were using HTML --this board uses UBB. Next time put: after it to have a picture show here.
If you want to put a clickable link, use url instead of img.
EDIT: Aaack! forgot to leave a space inside the brackets around img& /img, and url & /url!

ziggydog,
You need to use the brackets and img tags before the location.
[ img ]http://www.auctionimages.net/xhost/images/dinapal/SMGLASSCU.jpg[ /img ]
Except remove the spaces before and after the words in the brackets.

Look like 1950's Georges Briard glass serving trays. They are usually signed but I am sure others made them as well and didn't sign them. You might wantto search Briard on Ebay and see if there is anything similar. He did all kinds of things so no telling what you'll find.

One more little tidbit for you, Ziggydog.
Those glass trays were most likely made from blanks that were destined originaly to be ceiling light shades.Mr. Briard bought blanks and made these trays from them.
