I have 8 auctions up and only one has action - and this is an item that usually has a fight going by now. Must be the back to school or vacation effect. Sooo - how about a Friday night party? I'll bring some home made hot wings and some beer, and some good "oldies" music - we can all have fun and forget about those #$%#@ auctions! Anyone interested? There was a barn dance in these threads a year or so back, that was awesome fun and lasted for a couple of days. Forget your troubles, come on - get happy!

Don't despair...mine were absolutely DEAD, Flat Lining earlier in the week. But in the last 24 hours, things have picked up and looks like it'll be a good week after all.
Guess people don't have much left over after paying for school supplies, clothes, tuition, even w/the tax rebate!

Must remember not to list auctions (specially auctions of shiny kettles) whilst drinking beer ....

Oooh! Have you ever tried "Spiv?" It is an English cider liquer. Very good. Very potent! Please have a chair - I'll crank up the air conditioning, it is very warm and humid here in Maryland! Anyone want to be the D-Jay? How about some upbeat stuff? Oh, and nobody try listing auctions - you might get a LWI (Listing While Impaired) ticket.

I'd love to join the party, but it's Friday night, and that means PIZZA, and since we are on a good food diet, Pizza night has become sacred!...
However, with regard to sales, I think a large portion of us buyers are busy buyin' fun stuff, like notebooks/crayons....sneakers/backpacks...all the little goodies for the little darlin's to depart for school-sweet-school! 
You all have a good time...&...remember to assign a designated driver, uh um I mean a designated typer!!!

I guess the UK guy gave up on the party, it is about 3 in the morning over there.
I just think it would be a good release for all eBay sellers/buyers to relax and fraternise and have a good time together. No stressing about non-paying bidders or non-shipping sellers - let's let our hair down and have a great Friday night.
I think we need some more beer - the UK guy drank it all before he left!

Sales have been lack-luster on this front too...not altogether horrible; just ho-hum.
Bad timing on the part of the buyer cause we are amassing capital to open a new brick and mortar at the end of the month.
Hmmmm black-n-tan. The drink of gods and goddess' everywhere!

Guess I'll have to settle for being the designated typer since I don't drink beer (imported or domestic). NOW, if we can find anyone from France to join and bring some sparkling bubbly in here..well, bring an extra magnum for me!
Hmmm, think GreetingsfromUK would mind picking up some Glenlivet for me?

Well, I have a half bottle of Grand McNish - not exactly Glenlivet, but not bad. And as to the designated typer thing - who cares if you type drunk! It might be very amusing.
Since I started the thread, I have had exactly 2 hits on my auctions. What is this miasma that is dampening bidder enthusiasm? Perhaps a few bidders would join the party. Give 'em whatever they want to drink - loosen 'em up!
All this partying - I'm sleepy. Guess I'll say goodnight. Sigh. Boy, I remember that drunken barn dance party was a lot livlier. 'Night all!

If there are any wings left I'd love to have some - with ranch "dippy sauce" if you have.

And I'll supply the records, as long as you have a turntable. You see--I'm currently running 45 auctions--with 40 of them being LPs (albums). I have three bids--NONE of them on the records!

I got two turntables - mixboard - lights - mirror ball - the works. I put them away hoping that someday I'd have a use for them. Maybe this is someday!
