Hello All! I could use some help IDing this figure. He is a composition type material and has a copyright of 1946. Looks like Peter Pan, or maybe an elf...anyone have any idea??? Thanks in advance! I hope the pics come up, if not perhaps someone with more acumen could fix them!

Thanks everyone...the photos are up now. I am a bit rusty on the FTP stuff-it's been a while since I fooled with pics.

Peter Pan is proabably it, but Robin Hood is also a possibility. Thought maybe he was an old advertising character....

Seems like this guy was used by United Way or some similar organization to present an award. There is supposed to be an engraved plate on his base that would have the year and exactly what the award was for.

I would bet it was an award form the Red Feather campaing the forerunner to the United
Way form the 50's!

I would guess Robin Hood before I would guess Peter Pan just because of the feather that looks like it could be from an arrow which everyone know's Robin Hood used to "steal from the rich and give to the poor!" ~smile~
Not "NanasTurtle" on ebay

I found some listed on ebay as Peter Pan and also for a Community Chest award with a red feather on his head.
But I think that the real Peter Pan had a green tunic didn't he?

I just wanted to comment on the vast knowledge base on this board. A United Way award from the 50's - You guys are awesome!
I really do think I could dredge up any sort of widget from the past 100 years and post a picture and SOMEONE here would know exactly what it is.

Do I see a "1946" on the base in the back?
Could be a date?
Edited to add...DUHHHH! I guess so, since the original post says so!
