I'm having trouble with this sterling pattern. It is marked C.B. BROWN Co. which was a jeweler in Omaha up until the 1950's. The pattern is similar to the mirror pattern, in my opinion, but that's not it. The only other marking on it is sterling. Any ideas?
I hope this pic shows up since it's my first time with this UBB code stuff.

Thanks,

Karen

I believe it's Flowered Antique, introduced in 1946 and manufactured by R. Blackinton & Co. (to be sold via jewelers and department stores, I assume, since that's where it came from). Blackinton was bought out by Towle in the 1960s.

Check out Tere Hagan's "Sterling Flatware," 2nd edition, page 217 to be sure.
