Is there anyway to block a paypal user? I don't know if you guys recall the harassing ebay member I encounted over a month ago who got the item I sent and claimed she didn't get even with DC, etc. etc. - anyway she got NAR'D briefly from ebay as she harassed me with another user id and then some, but she is back - has another neg (person emailed me and had SAME problem) and is now sending me funds to my paypal (very little but enuf) so I get charged fees. I wrote paypal and ebay again but wonder if you know if I can block her?

Thank you!
Lauren- not nightbird84 on ebay

Is she verified with a confirmed address? If so I don't think so. However, if she's not verified or have a confirmed address, I believe you can change your preferences at pp to accept these on a transaction by transaction basis.

The other way might be to change your email address at pp, and only give it out to your new buyers. I believe you can do this by adding an email address, then deleting the old one. This way she won't know unless she uses a different user name to bid on your auctions.

I'm unclear from your post - is she sending money for things she purchased? Or just sending money? That would be a heck of a way to harrass someone.

A very clear post....

You can block bidders on ebay, go to bidder management. There's also a link on the ebay pages when you list an auction.

If she's just sending you money, give her my email address. LOL

Interesting way to harass someone, send them pennies one at a time and they get charged 35 cents plus 2.9% each time.

i already blocked her on ebay - that's not my concern it's the paypal. she is verified and yes, it's not for goods, but to harass me and take fees from me.

I guess I may have to change my email? I hate that cause my paypal link on my ebay items makes it so others can pay right away and that's my main form of payment and not right.

There has to be a way to block her? I wish ebay would Naru her for good!

i thought paypal gives you a chance to accept payment?
money is money,if she has turned over new leaf, why not let her pay for her item

Send the money back to her. What people will do for revenge. Maybe PayPal could help you, why not call them on the phone and live talk with them to see what you can do. Good Luck

she already paid for item and got it last month, Hwahwa....she is now harassing me is my point by sending me pennies so I get charged a fee, she was trouble from the beginning (read my first post) - she is verified so I have to accept - it's automatic. My point is how to stop her? If I send $$$ back I am still out fees and then money i sent to her so that's not good. she's sending just enuf so I am out the money period, she's figured out what that amount is and I refuse to keep getting depleted.

Hope this makes sense!

Try posting in the paypal forum here at AW. ATTN DAMON from paypal, I have had good luck with that. He responds to questions.

When did she start doing this because there is a thread over on the AW PayPal message board stating that this very thing would be a good way to get back at someone. Wonder if she got the idea over there?

I think Damon is on holiday because it doesn't seem like many PayPal things are getting his input yesterday or today.

nightbird84 - coincidentally this same topic has just come up on the paypal forum yesterday, and paypaldamon said that a blatant abuse of the system such as this would be investigated.

I'm not sure who you'd report it to, perhaps just start straight out with [email protected].

she started yesterday, I just posted this topic on the paypal board, didn't realize there was one, and emailed Damon. Go over there if you want to see what's going on and thank you as always for all your help!
