I know I started a thread before, that International shipping is this much

Well I quoted him the $44. air postal. (To Hong Kong weight: 6 pounds 8 oz packed)

He replied back 4 days later with: that is too much for shipping, could I leave out the leather bag?

Um, no, I can't, or can I ? or should I ?

I had to look, so looked at his current bids, he's got 309 bids current, 13 pages.

1/3 of them for the exact same camera at a much much lower price than he bid.

He's new, and (11) feedback, mostly not U.S. sellers.

Do I comply, adjust the weight and packing without the leather bag that goes with it?
I feel he is not going to be happy in any way unless its free shipping

If he doesn't want the bag, he doesn't want it. What's the big deal? You can sell it separately can't you?

What's the difference in shipping without the bag? If there's not a big difference, let him know. If he refuses to honor the auction, file for npb alert and your fees. Then leave appropriate feedback.

(Just because one lives in Japan, doesn't mean they're Japanese or should be held responsible for Pearl Harbor.)

Your right. I just wrote him, and told him I'd unpack it, and repack only the camera and the flash attachement. It won't come to a whole lot less.

Thanks!

(um he's in Hong Kong, not Japan. Hong Kong is part of China)

Hi NearTheSea - I'd also suggest that you might check to see what it would cost to ship this ground. (By boat). Usually it's a lot cheaper, but can take up to a month to arrive. So *if* you want to offer that as a method of comprise, be sure they know it would take much longer.

Hi Linda,
I tried that in my first approach to him, but he isisited I checked air only, not Global though.... so I did.

When he emailed me before the auction was over, and asked if he could bid, and that he was out of country (I have US only) I told him then that shipping would be higher....

I just thought it strange that he is bidding on the exact same one that I have, currently about 65 times.. ok I can see if he resells these in Hong Kong, but the case is a big deal with this whole set?

Thanks
